"Real evidence, not estimates" only means something if we hold ourselves to rules about it. This page is those rules.

The Answer Index

Every entry in the Answer Index is built from real, repeated questions asked directly to the AI platforms we measure — never inferred, guessed, or modeled from other data. An entry's visibility percentage is the literal share of runs where that business was actually cited. Full mechanics are on our methodology page.

Two labels matter here, and we apply them without exception:

  • Illustrative / example entries are clearly marked "(example)" directly in the table — never in a footnote — because they demonstrate format, not a real measurement of that business.
  • Preliminary entries (fewer than 5 completed runs) are marked "preliminary" rather than presented with the confidence of a mature sample.

A category with no completed measurement run shows no entries at all. We do not fill gaps with placeholder numbers to make coverage look more complete than it is.

Case studies

Real case studies describe actual client engagements and results. Where no real client case study yet exists for a given format or category, we show a single, clearly labeled illustrative example — never presented as a live client result.

Free tools

Our free tools (AEO Score, Schema Validator, AI Crawler Access Checker, and others) run real, live checks against the URL you submit — the same underlying crawler and logic that power our paid work, not a simplified demo version. Their output reflects what that check actually found at the time you ran it, not a generic or pre-written result.

Corrections

If you find something on this site that's inaccurate, outdated, or mislabeled — a stat, a claim, a case study detail — tell us: info@airankings.net. We correct real errors when we find them or when they're reported, rather than leaving them because a page is otherwise "done."
